The plan is the grain

Success starts with a rock-solid prompt and clear architectural intent. Marble cracks along its grain — if the plan is weak, no amount of generated code will save the result.

Chisel the slop

AI loves to include hallucinations, just-in-case bloat and quiet technical debt. Judgment is the chisel: cut away everything that doesn't need to exist. The code you delete is as much your work as the code you keep.

Precision is economy

Being an artisan means being precise. Keeping outputs relevant and token usage lean isn't only about cost — it's about clarity and speed, for the model and for the humans who review what it produces.
